Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 16, 2026

Welcome to AluminateGlass.com. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and, where applicable, your interactions with Aluminate Glass LLC ("Aluminate Glass," "we," "us," or "our").

By using this website, requesting an estimate, or engaging Aluminate Glass for services, you acknowledge these Terms. Specific projects may also be governed by a written estimate, proposal, contract, work order, change order, invoice, or other agreement. If a project-specific written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the project-specific agreement will control with respect to that project.

1. About Aluminate Glass

Aluminate Glass LLC provides residential and commercial glass services throughout Orlando and Central Florida, including custom glass fabrication, installation, replacement, and repair.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

The availability, specifications, pricing, and timing of services depend on the individual project.

2. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on AluminateGlass.com accurate and current.

However, website information is provided for general informational purposes and should not be considered a final quotation, specification, engineering determination, architectural recommendation, or contractual commitment.

Product availability, glass types, hardware, finishes, specifications, pricing, lead times, and services may change without notice.

Photographs and examples displayed on the website are intended to demonstrate prior work, design possibilities, and general product appearance. Actual products may vary because of lighting, glass thickness, tint, hardware, manufacturing tolerances, materials, installation conditions, and other factors.

3. Estimates and Proposals

Unless otherwise stated in writing, initial estimates are provided without obligation.

An estimate or proposal may be based on:

An estimate is not a final commitment to perform work until accepted in accordance with the terms stated in the applicable proposal or agreement.

Pricing may be revised if measurements, specifications, site conditions, materials, quantities, engineering requirements, code requirements, or the requested scope of work change.

Any additional work requested after an estimate or proposal has been accepted may require additional charges.

4. Measurements

Accurate measurements are essential to custom glass fabrication.

When Aluminate Glass performs the final field measurement, fabrication will generally be based on measurements taken by our personnel.

If a customer, contractor, architect, designer, builder, property manager, or other third party provides dimensions and requests that Aluminate Glass fabricate material based on those dimensions, that party is responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Aluminate Glass is not responsible for fabrication errors resulting solely from incorrect measurements, dimensions, templates, drawings, plans, or specifications supplied by others.

Changes made to walls, tile, cabinetry, framing, flooring, openings, or other surrounding construction after final measurement may affect the fit of custom glass and may result in additional charges.

5. Custom-Fabricated Glass and Materials

Many products supplied by Aluminate Glass are manufactured specifically for an individual project.

Custom products may include, but are not limited to, glass that is:

Once custom materials have entered fabrication or have been specially ordered, they generally cannot be returned to the manufacturer or used on another project.

Accordingly, custom-fabricated and specially ordered products may be non-refundable after fabrication or ordering has begun, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable written agreement.

6. Deposits and Payment

Deposit requirements and payment schedules, if applicable, will be stated in the customer's estimate, proposal, invoice, contract, or other written agreement.

Payment may be required before materials are ordered or fabrication begins.

Remaining balances are due according to the payment terms stated in the applicable project documents.

Failure to make required payments may result in suspension of ordering, fabrication, delivery, scheduling, or installation until the account is brought current.

Additional work, modifications, return trips, storage, expedited service, or conditions outside the original scope may result in additional charges when appropriate and disclosed to the customer.

7. Changes to the Scope of Work

Changes requested after a project has been approved may affect:

Significant changes may require a revised proposal or written change order.

Work outside the original agreed scope may be billed separately.

Where possible, customers should approve requested changes in writing before additional work is performed.

8. Scheduling and Lead Times

Any completion dates or lead times communicated by Aluminate Glass are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Project schedules may depend on circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

Aluminate Glass will make reasonable efforts to communicate material scheduling changes.

A delay does not automatically constitute a breach of contract or entitle the customer to a refund unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

9. Customer Responsibilities and Site Readiness

The customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the project location when measurement, delivery, or installation is scheduled.

Unless specifically included in Aluminate Glass's written scope of work, the customer is responsible for ensuring that areas receiving glass are structurally suitable, accessible, and sufficiently complete for installation.

This may include, but is not limited to, ensuring that:

If a project cannot proceed because the site is not ready, a return visit or rescheduling may result in additional charges where appropriate.

10. Existing and Concealed Conditions

Glass installation may involve drilling, anchoring, removal of existing materials, attachment to finished surfaces, or work around tile, stone, walls, flooring, framing, waterproofing systems, plumbing, electrical systems, or other construction.

Aluminate Glass will use reasonable care while performing its work.

However, we are not responsible for pre-existing defects, hidden conditions, deteriorated materials, inadequate construction, concealed utilities, improper waterproofing, structural movement, or damage caused by conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before work began and were not caused by Aluminate Glass.

If an unexpected condition is discovered, additional work or modification of the project may be necessary.

11. Removal of Existing Glass and Materials

When removal of existing glass, mirrors, hardware, framing, sealants, or other materials is included in the project, reasonable care will be used to minimize damage to surrounding surfaces.

Existing materials may be brittle, deteriorated, improperly installed, strongly bonded, or otherwise difficult to remove without affecting adjacent surfaces.

Minor cosmetic repair, painting, drywall repair, tile repair, stone repair, waterproofing repair, or refinishing resulting from removal may not be included unless expressly stated in the written scope of work.

12. Glass Characteristics and Manufacturing Tolerances

Glass is a manufactured material and may contain minor characteristics that are considered normal within industry manufacturing standards.

Depending on the product, these may include, but are not limited to:

Certain characteristics may become more noticeable depending on lighting conditions, viewing angle, glass thickness, coating, tint, or reflection.

Such characteristics do not necessarily indicate defective glass.

13. Tempered Glass

Tempered safety glass is designed to break into relatively small pieces if failure occurs.

Although uncommon, tempered glass can occasionally experience spontaneous breakage due to factors such as microscopic inclusions, edge damage, impact, installation conditions, or other causes.

Aluminate Glass does not guarantee that tempered glass will never break.

Any applicable manufacturer warranty or project warranty will govern replacement in such circumstances.

14. Permits, Engineering, and Approvals

Some glass installations may require permits, engineering, architectural review, association approval, landlord approval, or governmental inspection.

Unless expressly included in a written proposal or contract, Aluminate Glass does not assume responsibility for obtaining permits, engineering services, architectural approvals, condominium or homeowners' association approvals, landlord approvals, or other third-party authorizations.

The property owner, general contractor, or other responsible party must ensure required approvals are obtained before installation.

Aluminate Glass may provide product specifications or other information reasonably available to assist with this process when appropriate.

15. Building Codes and Project Requirements

Aluminate Glass intends to perform work within the scope of its agreement using materials and installation practices appropriate for the specified application.

Code, engineering, wind-load, safety-glazing, railing, structural, accessibility, and other requirements may vary depending on the location and nature of the project.

The requirements applicable to a specific project should be determined before fabrication where necessary.

If conditions or requirements discovered after approval require changes to the proposed system, pricing and scheduling may need to be revised.

16. Cancellations

Cancellation terms applicable to a specific project may be stated in the customer's proposal, contract, or other written agreement.

Because many glass products are custom fabricated, an order generally cannot be canceled without cost once custom material has been ordered or fabrication has begun.

If cancellation occurs after costs have already been incurred, the customer may remain responsible for custom materials, fabrication, special-order products, engineering, delivery charges, administrative costs, labor already performed, or other reasonable project-specific expenses, subject to applicable law and the governing project agreement.

Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation right that cannot legally be waived.

17. Repairs and Emergency Work

Repair and emergency service may involve temporary measures intended to secure a property before permanent replacement glass or materials are available.

Temporary board-up, temporary glazing, or similar emergency measures are not intended to function as permanent installations.

Replacement timing will depend on measurements, glass type, fabrication requirements, supplier availability, and site conditions.

18. Warranties

Any warranty applicable to a project will be described in the customer's proposal, contract, invoice, warranty documentation, or manufacturer materials.

Manufacturer warranties may apply separately to certain glass products, coatings, hardware, sealants, windows, doors, or other components.

Manufacturer warranty claims are subject to the applicable manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranties do not cover damage resulting from:

Nothing in these Terms eliminates any warranty or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Care and Maintenance

Customers are responsible for reasonable care and maintenance after installation.

Glass, hardware, sealants, protective coatings, tracks, hinges, and other components may require periodic cleaning, adjustment, or maintenance.

Customers should follow any care instructions provided by Aluminate Glass or the product manufacturer.

Damage caused by abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, improper cleaning tools, misuse, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modification may not be covered by warranty.

20. Final Inspection and Completion

Customers should inspect completed work within a reasonable period after installation and notify Aluminate Glass promptly of any concerns.

Aluminate Glass should be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, correct workmanship issues covered by the applicable agreement or warranty.

Punch-list or warranty concerns do not automatically relieve the customer of payment obligations for portions of the work that have been satisfactorily completed.

21. Third-Party Contractors and Other Trades

Aluminate Glass frequently performs work on projects involving general contractors, builders, designers, architects, property managers, plumbers, tile contractors, electricians, and other trades.

Aluminate Glass is not responsible for delays, defects, dimensional changes, damage, or other conditions caused by work performed by parties outside Aluminate Glass's control.

Coordination responsibilities will be determined by the applicable project agreement.

25. Limitation Regarding Website Use

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aluminate Glass is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising solely from the use of, or inability to use, AluminateGlass.com.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Liability relating to an actual glass project or service is governed primarily by the applicable proposal, contract, warranty, and applicable law.

26. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Aluminate Glass will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, hurricanes, natural disasters, fires, transportation interruptions, supplier failures, material shortages, governmental actions, labor disruptions, utility outages, or similar circumstances.

We will make reasonable efforts to resume affected work when circumstances permit.

27. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent a dispute relating specifically to these website Terms requires court proceedings, applicable venue and jurisdiction will be determined under Florida law.

Project-specific agreements may contain additional dispute-resolution or venue provisions.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

29. Changes to These Terms

Aluminate Glass may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our website, services, business practices, or legal requirements.

The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
