A curtain wall is a non-structural exterior glass and aluminum facade attached to the building's structural frame. Unlike traditional load-bearing walls, curtain walls carry only their own weight. This allows for expansive glass facades that flood interiors with natural light and create striking architectural appearances. Curtain wall systems are designed for larger openings, multi-story applications, and environments where high wind loads and enhanced structural performance are required.
